HALF-TIME ENTERTAINMENT v RANGERS
Football Remembers
This Christmas Day (2014) marks the 100 year anniversary of The 1914 Christmas Truce, where soldiers put down their weapons and famously played football in no-man’s land.
In remembrance of this – in line with the FA ‘Football Remembers’ initiative – pupils at Maxwelltown High School have organised and ran a successful football tournament. The winners are here today to take participate in our half-time entertainment.
Throughout the tournament they have been raising money to donate to the
charity: ‘Help Our Heroes’ and would appreciate any spare change you donate today.
